The group has been focusing on waste. They have learned that litter doesn’t just stop when it reaches the rubbish bins but travels to Puwera Landfill. If someone litters, it ends up in our waterways and in the Moana, destroying our sea life. 

The group also did a massive clean around the kura and the community. They were doing their bit for Te Taiao. They filled up two big bags of rubbish!!
