Congratulations to these students for their outstanding achievements.

When students receive their Whānaungatanga band they have earned 9 stripes for participation, achievement and/or academic excellence. 

When they receive their Mātauranga band, they have earned 18 stripes for participation, achievement and/or academic excellence.

When they receive their Rangatira band, they have earned an admirable 27 stripes. At this point, they also receive their Tirohanga badge, being our top Tirohanga Award.

Starskea Mncube and Lachlan Noone are Year 8 students who deserve special recognition for receiving their 2nd Tirohanga Badges. Boston Morgan, also a Year 8 student, has just received his 3rd Tirohanga Badge. What fantastic achievements! These students have applied themselves academically, participated in a range of extra-curricular activities and taken on service roles during their time at WIS. Congratulations to you all.
