Our school elibrary

Karen Hinge —

Our school elibrary has a huge collection of digital and audio books that students can access any time!

The elibrary compliments our wonderful school library by providing an enormous range of digital and audio books that are available to all of our students. They can sign in for free, browse and issue books and then enjoy them on their chromebook or other device. They can even add the ePlatform app to their phone - which can be great for listening to audio books on long car journeys.

Audio books are a good way to support your child's reading because they help the young reader develop a positive attitude towards reading and support vocabulary growth. You can encourage your child by asking them what they are reading and discussing books with them. You might like to ask them to show you the elibrary and browse, read or listen together.

To sign in to the elibrary students need to go to this link: https://whangareiint.eplatform.co/  Their user name is their school email address, their start up password is: Library1 . Upon signing in for the first time students should change the password to one of their own choice.

If your child has any difficulty signing in, they just need to pop in to the school library to see Ms Hinge about it.
