The school has a well-resourced music room established for teaching this learning area. The school music program enables students to understand how to read and play music, develop skills to play a variety of instruments, enjoy music, and understand music in its social setting. Students learn to play drums, keyboards, and various guitars. The Year 8 groups form a class band to perform a song or two as part of the program. Out-of-hours music tuition is also available for a number of instruments.
