As we near the end of our school year here at WIS, our kitchen is still buzzing with lots of action...

Our students have been busy cooking up a range of different recipes that allow them to develop and strengthen their confidence and abilities in the kitchen, all while having heaps of fun learning!

He kai kei aku ringa - there is food in my hands. This whakatauki signifies resilience, empowerment and growth. It refers to one’s ability to use the skills and resources they have to grow, develop and foster success. In this case, it is kai!

Check out some of our awesome students with their kai that they have been making this term.
