Staunton Cup is an annual sports competition between Te Kāpehu Riccarton and Wharenui which has been going on for almost 60 years.

On Friday our senior sporting teams played Te Kāpehu Riccarton in our annual Staunton Cup competition. Thank you to Riccarton for hosting us, supplying lunch and providing competitive games. The sports that were played were Football, Touch, Netball and Hockey. Congratulations Te Kāpehu who took home all trophies this year.

Thanks to the coaches and supporters. Well done to the Wharenui students who all played well and represented our school with Mana.
