At the end of Term 2 we were very fortunate to have Rachel from the House of Bricks visit us for two days.

Each hub had some time exploring and creating with the many different types of Lego.  Manuka and Kowhai Nui spent their time using their mathematical knowledge of translation, transformation, reflection and rotation to create some amazing mosaics.

They then had the opportunity to get creative with the many different types of lego that the House of Bricks brings along.  Some students created marble runs while others built houses and pyramids.

This was a fantastic opportunity to come together and do some creative learning together at the end of a busy term.  A huge thank you to those parents that joined us in the junior school.
