Technology 2024 is underway! Every Monday the Year 7 and 8 students travel to Technology. Our Kahikatea students are enjoying technology, working hands-on, and learning authentic skills that they can show whānau at home. This may include; helping prepare dinner each night, out in the garden, or completing a DIY task. During Technology, the students engage with topics such as fabrics, woodwork, food, and robotics .

Sapphyre - "I enjoy making cushions out of fabric. Using colours pink, yellow and green". "I like using the sewing machines to stitch fabric".

Jahliyah - "I like cooking and making food. And I give some to my parents" Which they enjoyed.

Yuel - "I am learning to cook". "I have made a burger, which tastes nice". "I am also helping at home to cook".
