Daral and I had the privilege of attending the Central Athletics last Wednesday with 8 of our talented athletes.

Congratulations to the following students who attended:

Khen, Ayyub, Li'oa, Nikora, Jannah, Junior, Candice and Gab.  All of these students did so well to make it to the Centrals, the top athletes in the Canterbury region.

The following students received placings in their events:

Candice - 1st in Long Jump, 2nd in 60 m

Ayyub - 3rd in Long Jump

Khen - 5th in High Jump

Li'oa - 6th in High Jump and 100 m

Junior - 6th in 60 m

Our Year 8 boys relay team came first in their heat and 3rd in the final.  The team consisted of Khen, Ayyub, Nikora and Li'oa.  Ka pai to mahi team!
