Staffing update

Tracey Young —

Farewell to Felicity and welcome back to Sue

Felicity Rea will be departing Wharenui School at the end of this term to take up a new role with Office Max. She will be working as a STEM consultant and facilitator, helping promote learning opportunities using a range of new technologies. Miss Fliss has been at Wharenui for 10 years and during this time she has contributed so much to our kura. We really appreciate all she has done for our learners setting them up for success in The Nest. This is an exciting new venture for Felicity and we wish her all the very best for the future.

The junior school will be holding a farewell assembly for her on Friday morning. The details for this will be sent out early next week and parents/caregivers are welcome to join us for this special occasion.

We are very fortunate to announce that Sue Vaughan will be taking over teaching in The Nest. Sue is an asset to our school and will ensure that the new tamariki coming to Wharenui will have a great start to their schooling. Jane Poff will be teaching in the Nest on Fridays.
