The Board of Trustees are a vital part of our school who work in partnership with the community, principal, teachers, support staff, and the government to ensure the best possible outcomes for all learners.

Board Elections

The 2022 Board of Trustees Elections will be held in September. This is an opportunity for parent & staff representatives to be elected to our Board. All of NZ’s state schools have a school board that is the Crown entity responsible for the governance of the school.

The board:

• Ensures every student can reach their highest possible standard in student achievement

• Is the employer of all staff in the school

• Sets the strategic direction in consultation with parents, whanau, staff, students and the wider community

• Has governance oversight for personnel, health & safety, property, policy, finance and administration in the school.
