A Message from Tracey - Week 4

Kia ora e te whānau,
A huge thank you to everyone that came along to our Whanaungatanga picnic on Thursday night. It was great to see so many people visiting the classrooms and then having an opportunity to catch up over kai. The Year 7/8 students would like to thank all those that purchased ice blocks as part of their camp fundraising.
Preparing for the rest of 2024
As you will be aware we are currently having a new learning block constructed due to the rapid roll growth we are experiencing. With this in mind, we are also preparing for the future so need to know if you have any younger children that will be starting with us later in 2024 or if you are moving out of our school zone this year. Please send an email or leave a message at the office. This helps us prepare for the growth and ensure that we have enough teachers and teaching spaces available.
Kindy and Pre-School visits
We have been fortunate to have some visitors from our local pre-schools and kindergartens join us for some morning learning sessions this week. It has been great that our students are reconnecting with their teachers and friends, along with showing them our Wharenui values in action!
Noho ora mai nā (Stay well / take care of yourself),
Tracey
