Rimu and Nikau Electricity

We will be finishing our exploration of electricity this week.

Our lovely learners have been rubbing different materials together to create excess electrons. When the balloon has too many electrons, they want to jump off on to another material. The pull of the electrons is so strong that hair and tissue rise up toward the balloon. Larger objects like walls and people see the balloon defying gravity and sticking on to them.
