We are delighted to share that the students in Rito Hub classrooms have made a fantastic start to their learning journey this year, demonstrating enthusiasm, curiosity, and a willingness to embrace new challenges.

As we kick off another exciting year of learning at Wharenui School (a first year for some), we are focused on setting up strong class routines to help us make the most of our time in the classroom. This includes establishing clear expectations for behavior, learning, and participation, as well as creating a safe and welcoming environment where everyone feels valued and supported.

Of course, one of the most important aspects of starting a new school year is making friends, and we encourage all students to work together and get to know their classmates. This year, we are also excited to explore the concept of Whānaungatanga, which is all about building strong relationships and connections within our school community.

Through a range of engaging activities and opportunities for collaboration and teamwork, we hope to foster a sense of belonging and unity that will help our students thrive. So here's to a fantastic year of learning, growth, and friendship at Wharenui!
