Welcome back to Term 3 and a very special welcome to the new families that have joined us.  

Last term we introduced Linc-Ed Hero as our new Student Management system and you would have been able to view a Reading post (start of Term 2) and a General Comment (end of Term 2).  Just a reminder that with Hero, you will throughout the year have the ability to:

• read and comment on posts relating to your child’s learning
• view information on your child’s progress,
• read school notices sent to the class or groups your child is part of
• respond to school notices such as surveys and trip permission requests
• view school term dates
• view a school calendar of events
• notify the school if your child is absent or late
• navigate to other school-related webpages
• select how you wish to receive notifications

At our Ako Hui meetings this week, staff will be checking that you can access this either via the app or email to ensure you have the most up to date information about events and your child/ren.  Below are the details to log in to Linc-Ed Hero for the first time if you need them.  I will also be available in the staffroom to help with any technical issues or queries so please don't hesitate to pop in and say hello.
