News from the Kōrari Hāpori

Darrin Mitchell —

Each Hāpori takes a turn at sharing news from their team.

As Term Two draws to a close, it's a great time to reflect on some of our learning over the term. Some wonderful Art has been created across the team, in Maths, our students have been learning about shapes, area and perimeter as well as learning strategies for addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

Our Cross Country was a huge success and a handful of our students were able to represent our school in the Zone Cross Country competition. Our Reading and Writing programmes have helped ensure all of our students are learning strategies to become confident in Literacy.

Our Year 5 and 6 camp at Living Springs was amazing, as it always is. Thanks to the hosts, our parents, our students and of course our wonderful tamariki.

Please take the time to read your child's mid year report. Our teachers take a lot of time to ensure their comments reflect your child well. If you haven't done so already please book a parent/child/teacher interview. These are being held next Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
