Kia ora, Ko Darrin Mitchell tōku ingoa. I am born and bred Cantabrian and I have lived and worked here all my life. I have been a kaiako for 21 years and I love my job. I am an avid sports follower and still manage to play football during the winter season. I also love to travel both overseas and within New Zealand. I love gardening and feel passionate about protecting our environment. Music is another passion. I have an extensive record collection and love attending concerts. I have two grown-up kids - my daughter is a nurse here in Christchurch and my son works in London.
