Term 2, 2023 Swimming

All Karawhā and Kōrari children (Rooms 8 -15) need their togs at school in week 1 & 2. Juniors will swim week 5 and more information will come home for them next term.

Karawhā and Kōrari students - Weeks 1 & 2 - everyday.

Wednesday 26 April - Friday 5 May.  8 lessons.

Classes will be leaving school daily at different times by bus.

  • The lessons are FREE.  The School Board is funding the total cost of the swimming lessons and bus transport for every child so every child can participate.

  • Participation in the daily swimming lessons will be compulsory for all children unless a medical certificate is provided to explain the child’s non-participation.

Parents are able to attend and watch swimming lessons.  

This is such a wonderful learning opportunity for every child as Swimming is a core component of the Physical Education curriculum.
