Whītau School Sports Update

Term 4 has certainly become the term of sport at Whītau School! There are events happening nearly every week! Here is a summary of what is coming up. We would love families to come along and support our tamariki at these events.

Week 3 Thursday 03 November - Years 4-6 Athletics Day. House coloured top or school uniform to be worn. 

Week 4 Tuesday 08 November - Y 5/6 South East Zones Athletics, Hansen Park. Postponement day: Tuesday 15 November.

Week 6 Wednesday 23 November - School wide Top Team event. Wear school uniform to school. Bring a House coloured top to change into. No postponement day.

Week 6 Friday 25 November - Year 0-3 Athletics Day. House coloured top or school uniform to be worn. No postponement day.

Week 6 Friday 25 November - Year 5/6 Jedi Dodgeball Tournament (50 children), Sporting Edge Indoor Centre, Matipo Street.

Week 8 Wednesday 07 December - School wide House Tabloid Day. House coloured top or school uniform to be worn. This date may change because of Tough Kids.

Week 8 Wednesday 07 December - Years 3-6 Tough Kids Challenge. $10 cost per person. Limited to 50 children. Notices for this event will come out later in the term.

Throughout the term, our awesome Miniball basketball team will be playing at Cowles Stadium on Thursdays and we have eleven children participating in Tamai Touch on Tuesdays.
