Childrens' Day 7 March

We are holding an event for children's day at the Halswell Quarry. This will be a nature based family fun day with Hut Building, Nature play activities, walks, Orienteering, Nature Based Craft, Mud Kitchens, Treasure Hunts, Giant games and more. There will be a coffee cart onsite at the Quarry but families are encouraged to bring a picnic and spend the day at exploring the activities and the quarry.All details and updates can be found on our event page on facebook - https://www.facebook.com/events/245452590322698              There is also other Children's Day events happening across the city.

Hornby Junior Hockey

We would love to invite the children at your school, girls and boys from years 1 - 8, to some FREE pre-season hockey fun at Hornby Domain Main South Rd. These fun trainings and games will start on Thursday 25th February (5:45-6:45pm) and will run for 6 weeks. The sessions will cater for children of all abilities and are a great opportunity for children to give the sport a go and make new friends.

Hornby Netball Trails

HNC TrialsHornby Netball Club have their Men's, Senior and Social trials coming up on the 27th and 28th February + 1st March. These will be held at Hagley Netball Centreon courts 6 and 7 for all 3 dates. Please check our website www.hornbynetball.co.nz for times. We welcome any new players to our club for the 2021 season and look forward to meeting you.Hornby Netball Club have their Age grade and Junior trials coming up on the 6th and 14th March. These will be held at Christchurch Netball Centre on courts 16 and 18 for both weekends.

SUNDAY 14 MARCH
Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 will have a skills session only which will help us to determine the teams they will be placed in for each years grade.
Year 3 & 4 will be at 10am to 10:45am and Year 5 & 6 will be at 10:45am to 11:30am AGE GRADE
U12 10am - 11am
U13 - 11am - 12 noon
U14 - 12 - 1pm
U15 - 1pm - 2pm
U17 - 2pm - 3pm
