Kia Ora - Welcome to Maori Language Week. Have you used Maori language today?

Well what a lot can change in 4 weeks

Welcome Back Everyone

Spring has sprung while we were away, and the days are getting a bit warmer.  Although sometimes we need to look at the daffodils and other spring flowers to remind us of this.

We all hope we can return to Level 1 next week - fingers crossed.  If we do there will be Covid Tracking scanning sign-in options at all entries.

Year 5&6 Camp

At this stage this is going ahead and planning is well underway for the Term 4 Week 2 camp.

School Production - Please read the article in this newsletter.

Stage 2 Construction

Southbase were able to get back underway under Level 3, and ground preparations are underway.  The foundations should be poured on Monday or Tuesday next week, and the slab around 28 September.  Once the slab pour is confirmed I will let you know the arrangements for school entry that day.  It is likely we will all use the Hall entry as there will be concrete trucks on and off the site from about 7am.  Due to work happening over the holidays the Kittyhawk entrance gate will be locked.

Scooter Track

The Board of Trustees is working through a design process for a scooter track to be built once Stage 2 is complete.  Southbase will be the construction contractor for this.  It is very exciting and will be a fantastic asset to the playground.
