A word from our students ........

On Tuesday the 23rd of May 2023 we had the Year 5 & 6 Girls Single Wicket Cricket Final. It was between April and Bella. April’s fielders were Shanaya, Honor and Hana. Bella’s fielders were Ana, Emliee and Katelyn.The score was 24 to 27. April won by 3 runs. Everyone was very supportive to both players. Everyone showed good Sportsmanship. 

When the umpire said the score everyone was shocked including himself and he said that “I have never seen such a close game in my life”. When April came off the field everyone was so happy with her and she felt really proud.  Three cheers for April.

A big thank you to Mr Walkinshaw who gives up the first 20 minutes of his lunch everyday to support the senior students play cricket! The kids love it :). There will be a boys competition in Term 4.
