PTA Fundraising

During 2020 and so far this year, the PTA have organised a number of fundraising events to raise money for our school.

The PTA have contributed towards the Senior Playground, brand new art drying racks for each learning space and have allocated some money for the school garden and grounds. At the end of Term 1 the five different learning spaces were each given $300 to purchase whatever resources they need for their students and classrooms.

In Pūkeko the money was used to purchase picture books, a wooden car garage, toy cars, lego, marble runs, dolls and some brand new dress ups! Some additional dress ups were also gifted to our learning space. They have been a big hit and we are very thankful for our lovely new toys.

Toroa have ordered 20 sets of headphones to use with their iPads, an alphabet construction kit and some mini-beasts.

Kōtuku have purchased 12 sets of headphones, some new puzzles and some art trays to use when working on the carpet.

And finally Kererū and Ruru used the money to purchase some fantastic new wet day games.

All of the teachers and students at Wigram Primary are very grateful for the hard work the PTA have put in to fundraise this money for us. Thank you very much!
