Community Dental Service

One of our Community Dental Service vans will be making a visit to our school soon.

Only the children who currently require a check-up will be seen at this visit. Please do not be concerned if your child is not called for a check-up this time. The dental therapist will provide a regular check-up and preventative care which may include: Cleaning/Scaling (to remove plaque from teeth) Dental x-rays (to check for decay in teeth, or presence and position of teeth) Fluoride Varnish (painted on teeth to help prevent decay) Fissure Sealants (coating put on teeth to prevent decay) if required.  Please see the attached flyer for more information.

In Zone Applications
It would be appreciated if parents residing in our school home zone who wish to enrol for 2024 would complete the enrolment application form (online via the school website or paper copy from the office) by Friday 28 July, 2023 at 4.00 pm
If your application is in by this date you will not miss out on the upcoming opportunities for transition.
Out of Zone Applications
Hillmorton High School will take up to 25 places at Year 7 and none at any other level.
Applications close on Friday 28 July, 2023 at 4.00 pm.
If the number of out of zone applications exceeds the number of places, applications will be offered according to the priorities. If a ballot is required, it will be held on Wednesday, 2 August and parents will be advised within that week of the results.
