Staff Covid Vaccination
You may have heard a lot in the media about the vaccine mandate for all staff working in a school.
The first step of the mandate is for all staff to have had their first dose by Monday 15 November, then step 2 is all to be fully vaccinated by 1 January 2022.
At Wigram Primary School we have 100% of all employed staff with at least their first dose, and 80% currently fully vaccinated.
Any volunteers coming on site will be required to abide by this mandate as well. All relievers we employ will fit this mandate too.
What it does mean is that if we were to run an event that we required parent support for (transport, trips etc) we would be required to gather vaccine information as well.
We are just waiting to hear that the OSCAR workers are complying with this mandate too.
