Well done Sofi!

On Wednesday the 23rd of June, Sofi Bristow competed in the Canterbury Championship Cross Country race at Halswell Quarry. There were over 120 Year 5 girls who ran against her around a 2km course.

Sofi said that she enjoyed running in the mud but found it really hard at the start because there were so many girls crowding her. She had a great finish sprinting past a few competitors to cross the line in 36th place. Sofi is looking forward to competing in the Cross Country next year and has her sights set on a top 15 finish at the Canterbury Championship race.
