Student Summit

On Thursday 24th June, 15 students from Ruru went to Hornby Primary School for the Annual Uru Mānuka Student Summit. We had four presenters who shared with two different groups a DLO (Digital Learning Object) that they have used in their Reading work. They had to create a slideshow and teach the groups how to use their DLO and also how this helps with their Reading. The other 11 students were able to see some of the other schools in action. They were challenged with the question - How could this DLO be used in my Reading? All students had a fantastic time of hands-on learning and they look forward to implementing this new learning in their Reading and sharing this on their individual blogs. Come and have a look at the work that is being done in Ruru!
