Living Springs Year 5 & 6 Camp

Ruru is having a fantastic time on camp so far.

Yesterday we enjoyed learning about the history of Governor's Bay and Lyttelton Harbour as we walked into camp. This was followed by some recreational activities (the zipline and monorail being the most popular by far) and then we had our first Camp Auction! Dinner was delicious and the children made great use of the indoor pool to cool themselves off after a hot and tiring day. To finish the first night, we had our own Wigram’s Got Talent where children showcased their magic, dancing, singing, acrobatics and gymnastics skills. We had three celebrity judges: Lorde Ferguson, Seaeun Walker and Benne Bunting! Today’s round of activities includes bouldering, initiatives, bush ecology and low ropes. Nachos for lunch and I’m sure something yummy again for dinner! Thank you for all your support!
