Cultural Celebration Day - Thursday 29th June

Every year at Wigram Primary School, we love to recognise and celebrate all the wonderful cultures that help make our school special.

On Thursday 29th June we will join together for a special assembly and flag ceremony in our hall followed by a shared lunch.

  • The assembly will start promptly at 11:30 am.

  • Families are invited to come and watch the assembly and join us for lunch

  • We would like to ask everyone to please bring or send a plate of special food for lunch that represents your culture or county. As we have several children with severe allergies, we respectfully request that you avoid adding nuts to shared lunch dishes.

  • Lunch will be held in House groups- each learning space will be designated as one House.

(disposable or named unbreakable plates recommended)

  • No Uniform(mufti) - wear traditional costume or dress up to represent your country or culture

  • In the afternoon, the children will take part in whole school discovery activities and there will be an opportunity to take a photo with your flag and family members.
