Soup day!
A student council initiative
On Tuesday the student council sold 83 cups of pumpkin soup, using pumpkins from our own school garden. Our lovely two teacher aides, Adele and Michelle, helped the student council make this soup.
The student council was also involved in many different things in preparation for this, such as:- advertising - setting up systems for the children to collect the soup- helping wash the children's cups - taking photos.
Money raised from this project will be saved to use on student led activities during the year. They raised about $160 from soup sales.
