Learning Space Coffee Meetings - please look out for the invite to these meetings.  A great way to meet with other parents linked to the classroom, and a chance to talk to the teachers.

Stage 2 Build

Please look out for an update and changes to happen over the term break as Southbase begin work on our grounds for this new building.  We will email you during next week with all of the information regarding expectations and changes, particularly facing the Kittyhawk entrance and parking areas along Kittyhawk Ave.

Book Week Celebrations

We had a fantastic presentation from the New Zealand Playhouse Theatre on Monday.  They delivered an upbeat, modern version of Rumplestiltskin.  Full of song (ones the children knew), jokes (for children and adults) and a lovely story based on the traditional tale.  They kept the children fully engaged for over an hour.  Their set will help us with ideas for our production next term.  We will hold a full school production in Week 9 Term 3.

During the week teachers have been engaging in reading to different learning spaces, and having the dress up day today.  Lots of fun and we love the effort put in by parents to support their child find a suitable outfit for the day.  Lots of superheroes, princesses and Harry Potters.

School Holidays

The holidays are looming and I just want to remind you that school will be closed from 12 July until 25 July.  Term 3 begins on Monday 26 July, and there is a Teacher Only Day for our whole cluster of schools on Friday 30 July.
