Expressions Dance Company

Does your child love to dance? Make up dance shows to music on Youtube or TV? Dream of dancing on stage with the lights and makeup and music? Do you want to enrol them in classes where they learn more than just dance steps? Dance classes build confidence and are a great form of exercise that doesn't feel like exercise! Expressions Dance Company is a place where everyone can engage in dance classes which enable and nurture them to be the best person they can be – both as a dancer and as an individual. We have classes in Ballet, Jazz and Tap for kids from age 2.5 -18. We are a low pressure school - no "Dance Moms" drama - our focus is on having fun while dancing and learning more about ourselves. Courses are for children aged 7-13 years

Courses run from 4pm-5.30pm once per week during the school term, $250 per term

CHRISTCHURCH AVON ATHLETICS CLUB – Junior Section

We are a well organised, friendly Junior Athletics Club – Catering for children of all abilities in the 5-14yr age groups.

Club nights are Wednesdays 5pm -6.45pm (5/6yrs finish by 6.30pm) – at Burnside High School.

First Club night for the 2021/2022 season is Wednesday 20th October.

Saturday Inter-Club Competition is available with top-quality coaching provided.

• REGISTRATION DAY – FOR ALL NEW MEMBERS:

DATE: Monday 18 October

TIME: 5.00-6.30pm

PLACE: Christchurch Avon Club Rooms – Burnside High School

(access from Greers Rd beside tennis courts)

FEES: $100 per child (with reductions for 2 or more children in the same family)

$65 for children in the Kiwisport Group – 5/6 yrs

Fees are payable following registration by internet banking

Note - Until payment has been received, the child’s registration is incomplete.

Our very popular Junior club fills up quickly – so it is essential that all new members attend registration night on Monday 18 October to secure a place.

Please note that Kiwisport numbers will be restricted to 32 in the group.
