Did you know research shows if you speak another language at home, it is incredibly valuable and beneficial for your child to maintain that language?

Often there is a perception from parents who speak other languages, to discourage their children from speaking their home language in order for them to get better at speaking English.

However, a strong home language can become a cognitive and linguistic resource, providing a range of benefits for emergent bilingual students.

We would like to encourage everyone to speak their home language as much as possible. We believe this to be an incredible resource for your child and something they will appreciate later in life.
