Whānau Challenge: Bridge Building
As a family can you build a bridge that holds a food tin can?
We thought it would be great to set some family challenges that you can do with your child. They are all simple and easy to do, and that will promote great interaction with your child. It's fun and it will create memories. You will also be able to have learning experiences with your family.
This weeks Whānau Challenge is to build a bridge 50 cm wide to support the weight of a food tin can in the middle of the bridge.
Materials you can use:
Drinking Straws
String
Tape
Elastic bands
Popsicle Sticks
Once you have finished send your completed bridge photos to homechallenge@wigramprimary.school.nz and we will showcase these in the next newsletter.
