Children's Day - Sunday 5th March 2023

SPN Children’s Day 2023 is a FREE event celebrating Children’s Day NZ and it is happening at Foster Park Rolleston on Sunday 5th March | 11am - 3pm.

Selwyn Parenting Network are delighted to bring this fun, engaging and totally free event to Selwyn. There will be plenty on offer - right next to the children’s playground and Selwyn Sports Centre - including
Free Sausage Sizzle!!

McDonalds 2023 Duathlon

South Hagley Park on Sunday 2nd April
This event, involving run and cycle stages, is for individual entrants aged 7 to 15 years old.
The Rotary Club of Garden City has organised this event for many years to promote the development of healthy, fun loving and well adjusted young people.
Our emphasis is on participation rather than competition and in line with this, all entries go in a lucky draw for two mountain bikes and helmets.

All competitors will on the day receive a competition shirt, which they must wear to compete as well as a medal, certificate and goodie bag.

Hornby Netball Club

With netball providing new ways to deliver the sport, we at Hornby Netball are also changing the times.

There are some new competitions being provided this season and we invite you to join our club if you want to play any of these competitions.

• Walking Netball 
• Boys mixed up to age of U17
• No limits - inclusive programme designed for anyone aged between 5-18 years to be able to participate regardless of varying physical abilities or sight/hearing impairments.
