Huritini Student Council -Update!

Hi Huritini Student Council here, we just wanted to let you know who we are and to give you an update. :)

Who are we?

The Huritini Council’s goal is to bring student voice to the wider community in  Ōtautahi. Last week, we had our second meeting on the 29th of March held here at Wigram Primary School (We were very excited to host). In that meeting we discussed how we can keep our ‘drive safely for our safety campaign momentum running’ as we are still having trouble out on road patrol with people not following the road rules and we are concerned for our safety.

Watch this space as we have some exciting news to share with you at the beginning of next term around our road safety campaign.

We are looking forward to working with our local schools and councillors to make positive changes in our local community.
