On Friday 26 April from 10-11am PekaPeka Bird Feeder designers Tahu Mackenzie from Orokonui Ecosanctuary and Harvey Penfold will be at NatureHQ to share the wonders of the pest resistant PekaPeka and answer any questions on how to help our native birds! At the end of the session there will be a prize draw and someone will win a PekaPeka Bird Feeder to be personally installed by Tahu and Harvey.
Tahu knows lots about native birds as she's an educator at Orokonui Ecosanctuary and has some good advice about just what to feed the birds visiting your feeding station.
PekaPeka Bird Feeders are designed to feed birds safely anywhere!
Mounted on a Waratah with a feeding platform which gives birds 360 degrees of visibility, ambush predators such as cats cannot sneak up and attack.
"Native Tui, Bellbird and Silvereyes all LOVE these sugar water, fat and fruit feeders." Tahu Mackenzie
