Kerry from theartdept will lead an art workshop to make a Peripatus sculpture out of cabbage tree - Ti Kouka leaves and colourful wool at NatureHQ on Friday 26 April from 1-2.30pm.
Every young artist will make a their own interpretation of the mysterious peripatus. Materials are supplied.
From 11am local Peripatus champion and expert Dave Randle will be at NatureHQ to talk about and show a real peripatus.
Parents welcome to make one too and younger children must have parental supervision.
Where is Nature HQ?: The Community Gallery, 20 Princes Street.... just a few metres from the Octagon heading towards Moray Place.
theartdept. support the Wild Dunedin festival, so are providing this workshop free of charge, but we ask for a koha for art materials for the workshop.
