On Wednesday 24 April take one of three guided walks departing at 10am, 11am and 12 noon through regenerating native forest and wetland leading to this beach. On this special tour guides will point out some great plant specimens as well as talk about the conservation work/techniques carried out at Penguin Place.
We will offer 3 departures at 10am 11am and 12pm.
Bookings essential and a maximum of 10-12 people per departure time. The ramble tour is one hour long.
Remember to bring warm clothing as the weather can be changeable.
No charge, but an optional donation to the Penguin Rehab facility “a hoiho for a hoiho” ($5note) or a gold coin would be hugely appreciated.
Children attending this event can redeem a Kiwi Guardian Wild Dunedin Medal. Penguin Place will give you the information on how to claim your medal on www.wilddunedin.nz.
