Monarch Wildlife Cruises and Elm Wildlife Tours —

For half price experience  6 hours of  premium wildlife adventure with Elm Wildlife Tours and Monarch Wildlife Cruises  on Sunday 23 April 12.30–6.30pm.  Join knowledgeable experts to see albatross, seals, sealions, yellow eyed penguins and little blue penguins.   

Elm Wildlife tours and Monarch Wildlife cruises have combined to create a tour that should allow you to see all the major wild life species on the Otago Peninsula.

Find out the difference between a sea lion and a fur seal with on board experts Shaun McConkey MSC and the skipper of MV Monarch. 

  • Depart from outside i-Site 12.30pm to Weller’s Rock to join Monarch cruise round Taiaroa Head and to sea, then on to the Elm Wildlife conservation area returning approximately 6.30pm.

Cost:  $78 per person  ($199 for a family of four) 

This is a Kiwi Guardians Explorer Medal event. Children attending will be  given a DOC leaflet by Elm Wildlife Tours on how  to redeem a medal on www.wilddunedin.nz website.
