On Friday 26 April depart 10am from the Octagon by the i-SITE visitors centre for the Wild Bus Tour with your tour guides Nature Chasers, Taylor Davies-Colley and Samuel Purdie and a special guest to the Otago Peninsula. This bus tour is for those not normally able to travel by car to the Otago Peninsula. The bus will return to the Octagon by 2pm.
Learn how the Otago Harbour was formed and see if you can find a NZ Sea Lion.
This is a Kiwi Guardians Wild Dunedin Medal event. Children attending will be given a leaflet by your Wild Bus Tour guides on how to redeem a medal on www.wilddunedin.nz website.
Bring a packed lunch that you can enjoy on the Peninsula.
We wish to thank Good Company Tours for supporting our initiative to enable more people to get out and about amongst nature in Wild Dunedin.
Our festival intern from Belgium, Melina Momma will also be on the bus and will ask a few marketing questions during the trip to the Otago Peninsula.
