NatureHQ: Little Blue Penguins Pukekura
At NatureHQ on ANZAC Day Thursday 25 April at 3pm get to know better the Blue Penguins Pukekura with a talk by Hoani Langsbury from the Otago Peninsula Trust who manage the penguins day to day.
Find out how well they are doing and why.... when Yellow -Eyed Penguins are not.
Hoani will talk about how to track a Blue Penguin and how microchips are going to help the management of the population at Pilots Beach.
As part of the Otago Participatory Science Platform there will be opportunities for the community, including schools, to be involved so come and find out more.
