Sunday 10 October - 5.30pm Hutton Theatre. Enjoy a Sunday evening out at Otago Museum, enjoy a drink and hear from Dunedin artists Kerry Mackay and Janet de Wagt. Kerry Mackay is a local artist who uses textiles to create whimsical, multi-dimensional pieces and is one half of Dunedin duo – theartdept. Janet de Wagt is a painter whose highly expressive landscape paintings are readily identifiable and often capture the wilder side of the lower half of the South Island. Both artists work with found materials and inspire school children to create art projects that connect with the natural world. They both exhibit at Gallery de Novo, one of Dunedin’s leading galleries.
Listen to Janet and Kerry as they talk about their art and where their inspiration comes from, over a glass of wine.
All tickets include a glass of wine, admission to the event and a chance to win a work of art by Janet de Wagt or Kerry Mackay.
Proceeds from the event support the Dunedin Wildlife Hospital.
Tickets $15, ($5 from each ticket donated to the Dunedin Wildlife Hospital)
