Wild Bus to Orokonui Ecosanctuary - Te Korowai o Mihiwaka 🚍 🏅

Wild Dunedin Wild Bus —

On Wednesday 24 April depart 10am from the Octagon by the i-SITE visitors centre for the Wild Bus Tour with your tour guide Nature Chaser, Samuel Purdie and special guests to Orokonui Ecosanctuary. This bus tour is for those not by car to see the Ecosanctuary. The bus will return to the Octagon by 2pm.

Sixty per cent of the visitors are locals who visit Orokonui Ecosanctuary Te Korowai o Mihiwaka regularly, so to make that experience even better a number of new visitor experiences are being developed and will be introduced during the first ever FREE OPEN DAY on Wednesday 24 April.

This is a Kiwi Guardians Wild Dunedin Medal event. Children attending will be given a leaflet by your Wild Bus Tour guides on how to redeem a medal on www.wilddunedin.nz website.

There is a cafe at the Ecosanctuary so you are not permitted to eat a packed lunch there.  We suggest you bring something easy to eat on the bus if the cafe isnt an option for you.

We wish to thank Good Company Tours for supporting our initiative to enable more people to get out and about amongst nature in Wild Dunedin.

Our festival intern from Belgium, Melina Momma will also be on the bus and will ask a few marketing questions during the trip to the Ecosanctuary.
