Pesky pests hunt at Glenfalloch Garden

Otago Peninsula Trust & Otago Peninsula Biodiversity Group —

On Friday 21 April 10am–12noon join the 'Pestival' with Glenfalloch and Otago Peninsula Biodiversity Group. Learn about pests, then armed with your map, find pesky pests to win a treat.

Some animals and plants are nasty threats to our native wildlife and bush.

The Otago Peninsula Biodiversity Group and Otago Peninsula Trust are teaming up to help you identify, learn about and find out how to manage those pesky pests to stop them harming our native animals and plants.

This is a Kiwi Guardian Explorers Medal event: Glenfalloch staff will give out a flyer to children who join in the pesky pests hunt. The DOC flyer informs you how to redeem an Explorers Medal. Go to www.wilddunedin.nz and click on the medal icon on the homepage. Follow the instructions and a medal will be sent to you in the post.

Cost: $3 per child or $10 for 4 children. Please bring cash.

No bookings required.
