Kowhai has been reading a variety of Jack and the Beanstalk stories. Liz and Bennett wrote the retell along with Jack, Scarlett, Loxley, Sam and Max also helping. We designed our own castles and pretended to be climbing the beanstalk and then our pictures were put on the bamboo sticks. We have planted snow peas and we hope that they will grow and climb up the bamboo stick to make our own beanstalk.
