School Uniforms:

Our Winchester Rural School uniform are available only from NZ Uniforms. 

NZ Uniforms are located 151a Hilton Highway, Washdyke there operating hours are Mon - Fri 8.30am - 5pm and Sat 8.30am - 4pm (over the summer holidays).

*Uniforms will be available to purchase online, however this may take longer than the date mentioned above to get the website up and running.

After School:

Please make sure your child leaves the school grounds at 3pm. After a busy day learning, our expectation is that your child will leave the grounds.

Our teachers need this time after school to wind down & plan for the following day. This is also the time they usually hold their school meetings.

We do not expect them to supervise or look after the safety of your child at this time.

Medications:

Please ensure that if your child required medication administered during school times that the contents contain - Name of child, instructions of dosage, timeframe of taking the medication.

Collecting children early:

If you are collecting your children early, you must come into the office to sign out on the tablet and let office know even if the teacher is aware.

This is for Health & Safety reasons & if there was an emergency, we can account for everyone on the premises.

Minivan Hire:

Our school minibus is for hire.  $50 per half day, $100 for a full day.  It seats 12 people (this includes the driver). 

Contact the kura office to book the van and complete the paperwork.

Vests:

Please ensure your child wears a vest to and from school everyday this is mandatory and is part of our uniform requirements. 

If your child has borrowed a vest from the office please return asap. There is now a sign out board when borrowing a vest, please make sure once you return you complete it so we do not chase you.
