Ashburton Mitre 10 Christmas in the Park is happening again this year on the 8th December at 7pm until around 9.15pm. This is a free family concert put on by an amazing bunch of local volunteers who are passionate about family friendly events that don't break the bank! Each year we gather our best performers to the Ashburton Domain Oval and put a show on like no other! Our last concert featured Dave Dobbyn - it was a biggie, and this year we are returning to the original format featuring singers and dancers of all ages, and we are expecting a crowd of over 8,000 to celebrate Christmas as a community! Food and coffee vendors will be present, and families are welcome to bring a picnic. The night finishes off with a special appearance from the big man in the red suit, singing to thousands of excited children and faces will then turn upwards in wonder as the biggest Mega fireworks display in the region ends the night with a bang!
