HAPPENINGS FROM THE WEEK:

Today in Whānau swimming the Kererū kids helped with Pīwakawaka kids float on their backs. Then it was the Pīwakawaka kids turn to help by holding a hoop for the Kererū kids to swim through. We were learning about personal buoyancy and Submersion - both are key aspects of the Water Safety for Life swim programme that we run at Windwhistle. We all had a lot of fun in the water while managing to stay out of the rain!

SCHOOL NOTICES:

Kereru Kids

Lucy is going to be teaching tennis on Mondays while Yvonne takes swimming lessons. If your child has a racquet please send it along with them on Monday.

School Cuts

These are being held on Monday. (24 February) All proceeds from School Cuts go towards our camp, which this year is being held in Wellington at the end of this term. Please click here to book and support our camp!

Swimming Lessons

These continue next week. Please send togs every day. The children's skills are progressing well. We aim to carry lessons on for as long as possible this term due to not being able to offer them next term.

Toilet Upgrade

The flooring is nearly complete and we expect plumbers on site on Monday to begin the final plumbing fit off. Things are looking good!
