A timely reminder about home learning expectations.

Each week every child should have has 10 spelling words, 10 basic facts  and a home learning sheet glued into their home learning notebook. The children are responsible to manage themselves and ask for you to test them on these each night Monday - Friday. They must also complete a minimum of 20 minutes home reading. Some nights they will have a school reading book, if they do not bring a school reading book home then they will need to be reading a home reading book or library book. These will then count towards their Hell Pizza Reading Challenge.  Children are able to log their home reading on Reading Rewards and earn points towards our Shared Lunch Challenge. From week 3 if children to not complete their home learning they will need a parent note in the home learning notebook to avoid losing a Dojo point.

From week three we will also be having an optional homework challenge booklet. These challenges will earn the children bonus Dojo Points but are totally optional.
